The 2021 BET Hip Hop Awards are in full swing, with winners of the show being announced across 17 categories honoring rappers, producers, DJs, video directors, and more.
The 16th annual ceremony was framed by the theme of unity, shown through the tagline In Hip Hop We Stand.
“Our 2021 BET Hip Hop Awards nominees span generations and are a representation of the talented individuals who elevate hip-hop culture in creative and diverse ways. We congratulate each of them on these sought-after accolades,” Connie Orlando, EVP Specials, Music Programming & Music Strategy for BET, said when the nominees were announced. “We can’t wait to join forces with the best in hip-hop and deliver a one-of-a-kind show in Atlanta.”
Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, and Lil Durk led the entire field in nominees with nine a piece, while Drake was right behind with right nominations.
