The 2020 MTV VMA nominations are officially here, with Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, and The Weeknd leading the way. Grande and Gaga have earned nine nominations, seven of which are for their collaborative song “Rain on Me.” Eilish picked up six for her highly acclaimed debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, while Abel Tesfaye also pulled in six, largely for his hit single “Blinding Lights,” off his latest LP After Hours.

This year’s award show is one of a few to reveal nominations through voice tweets, and introduce brand new categories “Best Music Video from Home” and “Best Quarantine Performance.”

“We’re excited to unveil the incredible list of VMA nominees who shaped this year’s unique landscape and bring fans a show that celebrates the powerful unifying force of music,” Bruce Gillmer, ViacomCBS Media Networks' president of music, music talent, programming and events.

Performers for this year will include Doja Cat, BTS, The Weeknd, Maluma, CNCO, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, DaBaby, and Black Eyed Peas. Ariana Grande is also set to join Lady Gaga for a performance of their chart-topping single "Rain on Me."

The presenters lineup was also announced and will feature: Jaden Smith, Bebe Rexha, Bella Hadid, Machine Gun Kelly, Drew Barrymore, Travis Barker, Kelly Clarkson, Joey King, Madison Beer, Sofia Carson, Anthony Ramos, and Nicole Richie.

You can check out the full list of nominees below and start voting for your favorite artist on the VMA site today through Aug. 23. The ceremony will be held on Sunday, Aug. 30 at 8 p.m. ET.
