Premiere: Fuego and Nicky Jam Drop "Good Vibes" Video

The Latin artists released the official visual for their new collaborative track, set to hit streaming services this Friday.

Fuego and Nicky Jam are spreading the “Good Vibes.”

After sharing several teasers online, the Latin artists have released the official music video for their collaborative track. The song features production DVLP and Gio Kings Bred, and is ode to a special woman who was rescued from a bad relationship. Mike Ho directed the video, which follows Fuego and Nicky hanging at an eatery in Miami before making their way to a house party.

“The whole experience putting this video together was a lot of fun. Nicky and I were very involved with Mike Ho in building the concept and treatment, and then in making it come to life,” Fuego told Complex. “It was a great time working with the two of them so closely. Me and Mike have a special friendship, he actually met his wife at another video of mine he directed (‘35 pa las 12’ featuring J Balvin).”

Fuego went on to say that he and Nicky have known each other for a long time, but didn’t get the chance to collaborate until this year.

“We met up recently when he was recording the music video for the ‘Mi Cama Remix.’ Gio was there too, the producer for this track, so we decided to get in and work on something together,” he explained, before teasing an upcoming project. “We’re working towards an album next year, I would love for ‘Good Vibes’ to feature on it.”

You can check out the artists’ new video above. The single will hit streaming services later tonight (Sept. 21).

Fuego and Nicky have made some notable moves throughout the year. The former has linked up with Dillon Francis on “We the Funk” and also led a team at Red Bull Music Culture Clash 2018. The latter has joined forces with the likes of Will and Jaden Smith, and is now working on an English-language album.

“It's taking time. I'm looking for those good writers, 'cause the thing is, I don't write in English. I write in Spanish,” he told Hot 97 earlier this year. “I do the melodies, and I make people help me out with the English.”
