The week just got a whole lot better forĀ DrakeĀ fans.
On Thursday night, the Grammy-winning rapper came through with the official video for āKnife Talk,ā featuringĀ 21 Savage andĀ Project Pat. Drizzy announced the visual just minutes before its premiere, posting a black-and-whiteĀ 13-second teaser that went heavy on the Halloween vibes.
The video draws inspiration from old horror films, as it includesĀ shots of zombies andĀ talking dolls, as well as a couple of murder scenes.
āKnife Talk,ā co-produced by Metro BoominĀ and Peter Lee Johnson, was a standout track from Drakeās sixth studio album, Certified Lover Boy, which arrived about two months ago. The cut samples Juicy Jās 2017 song āFeed the Streets,ā featuring ASAP Rocky and Project Pat; the latter spoke aboutĀ āKnife Talkāsā origins during a September interview withĀ 360 Plug Hype, revealing it was originally intended for 21ās album.
āReally man, it was a track that was done and Metro Boomin, thatās my guy too, he hooked it up. He had the track, it was supposed to go on 21 Savageās album but it didnāt make it. And then Drake got it, man, and he gave me that Drake blessing.ā
