6ix9ine insists he had nothing to do with the attempted shooting of Chief Keef.

At around 5 a.m. Saturday, Sosa and his cousin Tadoe were reportedly shot at while standing outside the W Hotel in NYC. Fortunately, the single, errant bullet missed the rappers and instead hit the side of the building right before the two assailants fled the scene.

City law enforcement told ABC 7 that they are still searching for the suspects and have yet to establish a clear motive; however, many fans suspected 6ix9ine was behind the attack, as he has had a highly publicized feud with Tadoe in recent weeks.

6ix9ine has denied these rumors, and suggests Keef’s violent music is what led to the attack.

“He’s a gangsta rapper. He promotes violence. So, I guess he has a lot of beef on the streets; I don’t know who he’s beefing with that wants to hurt him, but it’s definitely not me. I’m actually a fan,” 6ix9ine said during an interview on TMZ Live. “I’ve never shot a gun in my life, to be honest with you.”

When asked if he thought his beef with Tadoe should end in wake of the shooting, 6ix9ine casually dismissed the attack as a part of rap life.

“People get shot at every day, homie. We not in Calabasas […] People die every day,” he said.

The Brooklyn rapper went on to say that he wasn’t too concerned with how the violence could impact his fans.

“I don’t think there’s no problem,” he said. “I think my fans are not, like, pussy […] You know what I’m saying? But my fans love craziness. You know what I’m saying? They don’t wanna come to a J. Cole show.”

Mmmkay.

This dispute is believed to have started when Tadoe reportedly discovered 6ix9ine’s number in Cuban Doll’s phone. Tadoe, who has been romantically involved with Doll, allegedly Facetime'd 6ix9ine to issue a warning.

“Lose this number,” he told the rapper during the call. “I kill people!”

Following the incident, Doll accused Tadoe of physical assault and even shared photos of her bruised face on social media.

“It has been happening for a while and I never spoke about it publicly because I never want people to think that I'm weak,” she wrote in an Instagram post. “This happening to other girls my age publicly and I see them getting made fun of on social media when they need help.”
