Fugees fans were treated to an impromptu reunion over the weekend, as Lauryn Hill brought out Wyclef Jean and Pras Michel during her set at the Roots Picnic in Philadelphia.
The performance arrives as Pras faces up to 20 years in prison after he was found guilty for his participation in a conspiracy scheme in which millions of dollars were used to influence U.S. government officials.
Lauryn, Wyclef, and Pras performed a medley of some of the Fugees' biggest hits, including “How Many Mics,” “Ready or Not,” “Killing Me Softly,” and “Fu-Gee-La.”
Questlove took to Instagram to celebrate the performance, noting that it "could possibly be one of the last times we will see this institution together in this setting."

I’m giving all the gratitude for making this miracle of a night happen," the Roots drummer and multi-hyphenate wrote.
Saturday's set at Philadelphia's Roots Picnic marked the first time the Fugees performed together since the trio reunited in September 2021 for their first gig in 15 years, playing a pop-up show in NYC at Pier 17 in support of Global Citizen Live.
The Fugees subsequently announced their reunion tour, which was scheduled to launch in Chicago that November before stopping in Los Angeles, Miami, Newark, Paris, London, and other cities before concluding with two concerts in Nigeria and Ghana.
A month later, the group announced that the tour would be pushed to early 2022, before officially canceling it in January 2022.
