Fresh off announcing the deluxe edition of their 2020 album The Slow Rush, Tame Impala has tapped Lil Yachty for the remix of “Breathe Deeper,” which arrives with an accompanying music video.
Yachty spoke about collaborating with frontman Kevin Parker in a statement alongside the song’s release: “It was so amazing to work with Kevin as I’ve been a big fan since high school,” the Atlanta rapper said. “It was a pleasant surprise and honor to be a part of such an incredible song.”
In tandem with the new remix, Tame Impala has announced that it will celebrate the two-year anniversary of The Slow Rush with a new deluxe edition box set, which is available for preorder and will drop on February 18, 2022.
The project will feature unreleased b-sides, the pre-album single “Patience,” along with additional extended versions and remixes. Meanwhile, the physical version of the box set includes alternate artwork, highlighted by a 40-page booklet and calendar.
