Logic's forthcoming album 'College Park'

Ahead of the release of his first independent album College ParkLogic enlists frequent collaborator Lucy Rose for his new single “Wake Up.”

The new track marks the fourth collaboration between Logic and Rose, who previously joined forces on 2015’s “Innermission,” 2017’s “Anziety,” and 2018’s “Thank You.”

The first single from his forthcoming LP College Park, “Wake Up” sees Logic contemplate how his life’s played out.

“Took another route, no, I never ended up in cuffs/Had a gat in my hand, but I didn’t wanna be that man/Look in the mirror, couldn’t see that man/Pick up the pen, never stick up to men/Only pick up the stick if I need to defend,” he raps.

Due out Feb. 24, College Park arrives on the heels of Logic’s 10-year stint at Def Jam. As such, the LP will mark the DMV rapper’s first independent release, as well as Logic’s second full-length project following his “retirement” from hip-hop in 2020.

Serving as his eighth studio album, Logic’s next full-length offering will feature guest appearances from Norah Jones, Seth Macfarlane, Joey Badass, RZA, Statik Selectah, Redman, Fat Trel, and Bun B.
