Fresh off defeating Tasha K, real name Latasha Kebe, in a defamation trial back in January, Cardi B is now filing a permanent injunction against the YouTube personality.

In a new filing Thursday night in federal court, Billboard reports the Bronx rapper has requested that a federal judge forbid Tasha K from posting “harmful and disgusting lies.” Cardi and her lawyers allege that the court’s recent $4 million defamation verdict has proven to be “inadequate.”

“Plaintiff filed this action because defendants refused to stop targeting her with harmful and disgusting lies,” Cardi’s legal team wrote in court documents obtained by Billboard. “Damages alone are inadequate to address the constant ongoing threat of defendants repeating the defamatory statements [and] defendants have explicitly said that they will continue publishing the defamatory statements unless an injunction is issued.”

Back in January, the court determined that Tasha K must pay Cardi $1.25 million in “general” damages and $1.5 million in punitive damages, as well as another $1.3 million in legal fees. Tasha K was found liable for defamation, invasion of privacy through portrayal in a false light, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

According to TMZ, Cardi has accused Tasha K of transferring her assets in an attempt to not pay the rapper.

Cardi initially sued Kebe back in 2019 over several videos in which the YouTuber that made claims that Cardi was a sex worker, engaged in adultery, contracted sexually transmitted diseases, and committed sex acts “with beer bottles on fucking stripper stages.”
