XXXTentacion's '?' to Get Deluxe Box Set Anniversary Release

XXXTentacion's second studio album, '?,' has turned a year old and now his estate is commemorating the occasion with a new deluxe edition box set.

XXXTentacion's second studio album, ?, has turned a year-old and his estate is commemorating the occasion with a new deluxe edition box set. The new three-LP deluxe edition of ? contains the original album as well as the instrumentals, A Ghetto Christmas Carol EP, and a new LP of previously unheard material.

That third LP promises "new original material, never-before-heard remixes, and unreleased voice memos culled from the ? sessions." Also included is a pullout poster and a booklet of personal photos. A two-CD edition of the release will also feature unheard material. The sets are available for pre-order on July 26.

Among the new bonus content is a tribute to XXX by video game composer Yoko Shimomura and a track featuring Rico Nasty. ? debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 when it dropped in 2018. He was fatally shot in Florida at the age of 20 later that year.

Recently it was announced that Jimmy Duval, who was credited as a producer on XXXTentacion's breakout hit "Look at Me," is suing the singer's estate for $1 million. Duval stated that his name had been "removed from all credits" and that he had not received much in the way of compensation for his work. "My friend is no longer with us and [I'm] only asking to remain a part of the legacy that we created together with 'Look at Me,’" Duval added.

XXXTentacion remained a controversial figure throughout his career. In 2016, he was arrested on charges of false imprisonment, witness tampering, and aggravated battery of a pregnant victim.
