In his part to help the city of Los Angeles amid the coronavirus pandemic, TDE CEO Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith has paid the rent for 311 L.A. families.

"I would like to give the biggest shout out to Anthony Tiffith, @dangerookipawaa founder of @topdawgent who just paid the rent for 311 families in our public housing developments in #Watts including #ImperialCourts, #JordanDowns, and #NickersonGardens," confirmed L.A. City Council member Joe Buscaino on Instagram.

"Senior citizens are a group that are often overlooked," added Tiffith. "This gesture is not just about philanthropy but humanity overall, and it's just the kind of good news our city needs right now."

In the description of the image, Buscaino made sure to give a shout out to Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock, Ab-Soul, Schoolboy Q, Isaiah Rashad, and SZA.

The news arrives off the back of a big week for TDE, with new singles from the likes of SiR, Ab-Soul, Zacari, and Isaiah Rashad
