J. Cole surprised a lot of fans when he suddenly announced the rapid release of KOD last year, and now it would seem as though he's gearing up for another sudden drop. Fans have begun speculating that new music from the rapper is imminent, with him completely wiping his Instagram page.

The Revengers sessions are done thank you to every artist and producer that came through. I love y’all, that shit was beautiful. Next step, finish the songs and let the 🌎 feel em.

J. Cole's label Dreamville Records recently confirmed that they had wrapped up the recording sessions for their new collaborative album, Revenge of the Dreams III. They've been building hype for the project by inviting some high-profile musicians, encouraging them to share their invitations on social media. Since then, Cole has kept quiet.

YOOOOOOO @KingOfQueenz y’all need to drop this shit already man #ROTD3 @JColeNC pic.twitter.com/AgOh1yfLyc

Dreamville's President Ibrahim Hamad did give fans a preview of new J. Cole however, leaking a snippet of an unreleased song on his Instagram story.

I got you when it’s finished 🙏🏿 I’m tryna put it together #Revenge https://t.co/NXrpUVv7Tq

With all the posts from Cole's Instagram now gone, it's likely that the release of the highly anticipated record is coming very soon. Hamad said that over 100 songs were recorded during the ten days they gathered everyone in the studio. Considering Revenge of the Dreamers II only had nine songs, it sounds as though there's a lot of editing to be done.
