In a pair of tweets shared Wednesday, GloRilla argued that it’s not impressive when someone thinks they’re smarter than everyone around them.
“Being da smartest person in da room is NOT a flex 💯,” the 23-year-old wrote.
In a follow-up tweet after prompting some reactions from her fans, Glo added, “& if you think it’s a flex it’s says alot [sic] about you 😂😂 dumbass.”
While some fans questioned the intent of her tweet, others suggested the sentiment of the first comment “went over a lot of people’s heads.” One user wrote, “How isn’t it lol especially when everyone else can learn from you.”
Another added, “This is true because it means u are in the wrong room.”
GloRilla—who made her Coachella debut last month—was recently forced to respond to viral rumors about her doing three years of jail time for stealing cereal.
“You hoes really sat y’all ass up there & believed I went to jail for 3 years for stealing cereal & dats why you hoes hearts be in y’all ass today because y’all believe whatever a n***a tell you,” she tweeted in April. “& dats da reason you n***as be taking care of kids dats not y’all’s till they 12 because you believe whatever a ho tell you.”
