Tru Life had a wave before getting himself locked up back in 2011. He was signed to Jay Z's now defunct Roc La Familia and kept himself in headlines as a Jim Jones/Dipset antagonist. Now the NYC rapper is back home and is looking to jumpstart his career again with a new video to his latest single.
"Bag for It" features Rick Ross with Velous on the boards and the hook. The trio find themselves in Miami riding on boats with models and stunting with exotic cars.
Tru Life had this to say about how the song and video came together:
"As soon as I got back home I wanted to get to work on music. I was in the studio listening to some beats by Velous. The "Bag For It" beat came on and he started humming the hook. I replayed the track a few times and knew had to reach out to my long-time friend Rick Ross. The pieces came together like a puzzle and we shot the video with Spiff TV in Miami."
