This year's Sundance Film Festival kicks off today in Park City, Utah. And those attending will get the chance to see a new documentary on underground hip-hop in New York, Spit Gold Under an Empire. As you'll see in the trailer above, the film features appearances by Angel Haze, Pro Era's Kirk Knight and CJ Fly, Mykki Blanco, and The Underachievers.
Spit Gold... is directed by Emily Kai Bock, a Montreal filmmaker who was behind Grimes' great "Oblivion" video.
