The Roots’ Questlove announced the lineup for the 2018 Roots Picnic happening this summer. This is the 11th annual day-long festival hosted in Philadelphia by the city's most influential hip-hop protégés. The concert will take place on June 2 and be headlined by Philly's own Lil Uzi Vert. The musical guests also include The Dirty Projectors, The Diplomats, 2 Chainz, 6lack, dvsn, Brandy, and more.
The Roots Jam Session will be hosted by comedian Dave Chappelle and “mad mad mad surprise guests," according to a tweet by Questlove. No word on who those guests are, but Quest promises it'll be an exciting performance.
Tickets go on sale Friday on the Roots Picnic website.
