Brimming with personality, perhaps best compared to fellow New York native A$AP Rocky, is Marques Martin who premieres his third release "Dinner Date" on Complex UK. The track features Maryland rapper KAMAUU who nicely contrasts with Marques' more chilled vibe, but still the flow remains energetic. Produced by No Wyld, "Dinner Date" takes on a more experimental, bass-driven sound, while, lyrically, it touches on the harsh realities of being black in America.
New York-based, Japanese keyboardist Big Yuki also contributed to the track, and having worked with some of the biggest names in the industry such as J.Cole, it further shows the progression that Marques Martin is making. Listen below.
