Originally hailing from London and starting out as a dubstep producer by the name of Bundat, Gloomy has evolved, putting more emphasis on melody and soundscape through the genre of grime. A tight fusion of wave and grime, his latest three-track EP, Groves, pushes those sounds to their limits. The title cut, for example, which you can hear exclusively below, combines grimey synth stabs and ethereal melodies, and things only get weirder from there with Gloomy's leftfield arrangements and surprise twists and turns.

Now that the EP has been released into the wild, it will be interesting to see what artists come through and remix the tracks.
