After cultivating an astonishing reputation for crafting guaranteed chart-climbers for the likes of Bebe Rexha, Astrid S, Kygo, Ellie Goulding, ALMA, Jess Glynne, Swedish powerhouse SHY Martin stepped out as an artist in her own right in 2016 with Mike Perry on "The Ocean" and it's been a relentless stream of success ever since.

Her latest slice of pop magic is "Can I Call You Back?", a dream-like flurry of breathy vocals, soul-touching songwriting and twinkling electronics. A bona fide master of the less-is-more approach, the defining characteristic of this one is its restraint. Her voice is kept delicate and light while the gentle piano melody is brushed with just the lightest electronic touches.

A member of fellow Swede Max Martin's philanthropic Equalizer Project, SHY Martin's credentials were proven years ago. Now that she's emerged from behind the scenes, her contribution to pop music won't be subtle for much longer.
