Having cut his teeth as a studio assistant at the Gin Factory (where he worked alongside Wiley and Stormzy), Yorkshire-born, London-based multi-instrumentalist Ross Quinn is now the star of the show and today he's dropping off the luxurious visuals for his debut single "You".

The track itself is a slow-burning stunner, built around fragile synth washes that flutter gracefully over the urgent beat before making way for Quinn's gentle, soulful vocals. Tell me do you want me like I want you, he wonders hopefully while the intimate video follows a couple in the early stages of a passionate romance.

It's an impressive start for the emerging artist who seems to have put his wealth of studio experience to good use. So if your isolation playlists are getting stale, keep this invigorating piece of alt-pop close at hand.
