Grime MC Mez has announced that his brand new EP, Babylon Can't Roll, will be released on March 27, and to get us all in the mood he's just dropped the title track's no-nonsense visuals from director Bipolar Spider. Produced by Grandmixxer, "Babylon Can't Roll" sees the Nottingham native tackle something a little different from the straight-up cruddiness that his producer friend usually supplies. This time around, Grandmixxer has crafted a dark and minimal, yet percussion-heavy, riddim that sits somewhere between UK funky, dancehall and grime, with just a hint of gqom darkness looming in the background.

Mez and Grandmixxer's partnership has already proved to be one of the most cohesive in grime, but they're not resting on their laurels anytime soon. Judging by "Babylon Can't Roll", it looks like this new project will pack even more surprises.
