The alleged stalker of XXXTentacion's mother has been ordered to undergo a mental health evaluation.

A Tuesday-filed Blast report cited court documents stating that a judge in Florida had appointed a doctor for the evaluation on the alleged stalker, 24-year-old Donavon Banton. Pending the outcome of that evaluation, the criminal case against Banton has been stayed.

Banton has been alleged to have stalked Cleopatra Bernard, the mother of the late XXXTentacion. Banton is accused of having traveled from New York to Florida on numerous occasions with intentions of "[making] contact with Bernard." Furthermore, Banton reportedly told authorities that he believed the late XXXTentacion had been trying to send him messages through Bernard.

Eventually, following multiple attempts to enter Bernard’s residence, Banton was issued a trespassing warning before ultimately trying again in January. When Bernard didn't answer the door, per the report, Banton is alleged to have jumped the fence and tossed a brick into a window and into the windshield of Bernard's Range Rover. Banton was arrested at the time and discovered to have been in possession of a "small ax, pry bar, and two pairs of gloves." Charges at the time focused on burglary and stalking.

In February, Banton pleaded not guilty to all charges.

XXXTentacion's final album Bad Vibes Forever was released back in December and featured appearances by Lil Wayne, blink-182, and more.
