After YouTube featured Doja Cat on its latest '#WCE' playlist, the rapper became entangled in an unexpected controversy. According to some people, Doja's skin looked lighter than usual in the photo used by YouTube, and they decided to let her know about it in the comments section. After multiple people accused her of bleaching her skin, Doja decided to fire back.

"Hey, so if you're stupid as fuck you probably left a comment under this picture talking about this," Doja Cat said on her Instagram Story while scrolling through the comments about her skin tone. "Hey, how about I'm half white, not entirely black. My skin gets very light when I don't tan. I was staying indoors a lot before that shoot. New fucking subject! Dumbasses."

It's been a busy week for Doja, who recently made news for saying that she's not panicking about coronavirus. "Bitch, I’m not scared of a coronavirus or the motherfucking beer version of that shit," she said according to Uproxx"I’m gonna get corona and then I’m gonna get a Corona, ’cause I don’t give a fuck about corona, bitch. It’s a flu! I would literally… I’m not scared. Y’all are pussy, period. You just take some Mucinex and drink water and tea and sleep—that’s all you gotta do. Y’all are so scared of some damn corona. Y’all are so scared of corona that I need a Corona.”
