Sitting somewhere between pop and R&B, the rising singer 19-year-old singer demonstrates a natural ability that should, by rights, yield chart success.
The flawlessly smooth instrumental comes courtesy of Grammy-nominated producer Russ Chell (whose credits include Lil Nas X, YBN Cordae and G-Eazy) and Epikhpro (who's worked with M Huncho, Bryson Tiller and Royce Da 5’9), providing the ideal backdrop for Teö's well-honed songwriting and fragile vocals.
Speaking with Complex via email, Teö told us: "'Love Me?' explores characteristics of turbulent relationships by asking whether or not the respective partner has feelings of genuine love or whether they are purely materialistic. Diving deeper, it also touches on the notions of personal worth and the importance of finding self love in order to manifest someone that truly loves you for you. 'Love Me?' is both an external and internal questioning of what it means to feel love."
