A stirring example of less-is-more.

Arriving with her first single of the year, and fourth overall, singer-songwriter Thea today unveils "TwentyTwo", a hazy, dream-like piece of songwriting that contrasts her laid-back delivery with an almost hymnal arrangement.

If the name, voice or indeed face, of Thea seems familiar to you, it's because of her many collaborations with Rex Orange County over the years. The last couple of years, however, have seen the rising artist set out on her own, carefully sprinkling a spaced-out string of singles culminating in the official release of "TwentyTwo" tomorrow.

The new single is incredibly restrained in its approach, taking the less-is-more approach almost to an extreme. What few elements remain — specifically her calming vocals and the rousing organ keys — to stir up emotions we didn't think we were ready for.
