A Love Letter to You 4 marks the first time that Trippie Redd has taken the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 album chart. In its debut week, Trippie's latest project earned just below 104,000 equivalent album units with a majority of its numbers being comprised of streaming, where 88,000 SEA units amounted to 125.9 million on-demand audio streams.

ALLTY 4's release was aided by the announcement of the upcoming Love Me More World Tour which starts in January.

A Love Letter to You 4 is Trippie's fourth project to be released in a little over a year. The previous three efforts—!, A Love Letter to You 3 and Life's a Trip —all entered the top 10. ALLTY 4 features a stacked line-up of guest appearances ranging from DaBaby to Tory Lanez to Juice WRLD.

Trippie thanked god after discovering that his latest album finished No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

Another notable artist to crack the top 10 was Coldplay, which saw their latest album Everyday Life garner 48,000 equivalent album units in its debut week. That total was good enough for the No. 7 spot.
