As first announced earlier this month, Future indeed made his way to Lagos, Nigeria over the weekend for a headlining show at the EKO Convention Centre.

Annoyingly, the power of Future's presence proved too much for at least one fan, who was seen in ensuing footage of the performance being tackled by security after doing that thing that almost certainly ensures an Instagrammed tackling: stage-crashing. As seen in the clip below, the fan enjoys a brief onstage moment of surprised bliss before security swoops in to get him out of Future's way:

Not much else is known about the incident, including whether the fan was booted from the show or simply released back into the crowd.

In other news of the Future variety, he was recently spotted at a McDonald's with Drake shooting what fans presumed to be a new music video. The possibility is of particular interest to fans as we move into 2020, a year which will mark the fifth anniversary of Future and Drake's 2015 classic What a Time to Be Alive. Future's 2019 project The WIZRD, meanwhile, ranks among Complex's selections for the best albums of the year.
