After kicking things off in 2016 with a pair of well-received singles ("Fila Mi Da" and "Jabole"), Nigerian star-in-the-making D'Nyra is back with his arrestingly soulful brand of Afrobeats. New single "Rain" is premiering today, and with it comes some stunning visuals shot out in Dubai.

Singing in his native tongue of Yoruba, D'Nyra's Afro-soul sound is more powerful and spiritually-minded than ever as he weaves his tale of positivity and finding beauty in life's struggles over the rich, almost gospel-like production comes from 2Kriz. While this is most likely his final single of the year, fans will be pleased to know an as-yet-untitled EP has been slated for a February 2020 drop, with appearances said to come from Tiwa Savage, Zlantan, and Tekno.

While you mark that on your calendar, get familiar with this rising star and his vision at the top.
