Back in May, golden-voiced soul singer Andreya Triana released her third full-length album Life In Colour, an 11-track collection of vibrant, timeless soul music — but that already feels like a lifetime ago because since then she's released a head-turning duet with Jake Isaac called "10 Steps To Heaven" and she's now laying the groundwork for her next release, the Covers EP.

As you'd imagine, the Covers EP is exactly that, a collection of classics reimagined and reinvigorated by Triana herself. We've already been treated to her version of Bob Dylan's "Make You Feel My Love" and now we get to hear her cover of Sade's "By Your Side". The warm acoustic guitars and subtle organs gave the original a stunningly intimate feel, but Triana's taken that even further. Stripping things back even more, for this version it's just Andreya and a simple piano riff, adding a haunting, wintry edge to what was already a heart-wrenching piece of music.
