French MontanaĀ is out of the ICU.
The 35-year-old rapper confirmed the big news on Thanksgiving Day, sharing an Instagram photo of himself standing in a hospital room.Ā
"Thank you Everyone for all of the prayers, love and support," he wrote in the caption.Ā "Iām finally out of ICU and am getting better one day at a time."
FrenchĀ was hospitalized last week afterĀ receivingĀ an "unexpected visit" from Calabasas police. According to TMZ, officers were responding to a report of a possible robbery, but instead found the rapper behaving abnormally. Sources said French was suffering fromĀ exhaustion, dehydration, severe stomach pains, andĀ an irregular heart rate at the timeāpossibly due to contaminated food and/or his busy traveling schedule. He was transported to the hospital shortly after police arrived, and remained in the ICU for a total of nine days.
Throughout his hospital stay, French received an outpouring of support from fans and friends. Megan Thee Stallion was among those who paid French a visit.
