Police were called after a fellow Walmart shopper allegedly used a racial slur against Trina.
According to a report on the incident from TMZ, Trina was at a Walmart location in Cooper City, Florida when an unidentified shopper called her a "n****r bitch." A short video of what followed, embedded up top, sees Trina responding to the slur with understandable shock and disgust. The clip then jumps to someone notifying Trina authorities are being called, to which Trina expresses indifference.
"Say it again!" Trina says in the clip. "Say it the motherfuck again! Say it again! Say it again! Say it the fuck again, you dirty ass bitch! Say it the motherfuck again. I am a n****r. I am a n****r bitch. Say it again! Say it again. I dare you to say it. I dare you to motherfuckin' say it."
The TMZ report claims the woman used the slur against Trina after her they bumped into each other in an aisle. The publication's law enforcement sources added that a police report wasn't taken, as Trina ultimately decided against doing so. Citing "safety measure" reasons, Trina was reportedly escorted out of the Walmart and to her vehicle. As for the woman who allegedly used the slur against Trina to begin with, she reportedly did not speak with responding officers at all.
At the time of this writing, Trina has not publicly addressed the incident.
Back in October, Trina's team was forced to make a public statement following multiple reports of "fraudulent activities done by third parties" consisting of false claims of affiliation with the artist.
"The rap icon truly is grateful for the support of her fans worldwide but does not support or appreciate any type of attempts to tarnish the brand that she has created since her introduction," the statement, which clarified the handles for official Trina-affiliated accounts, said.
