Toronto's Tre Mission has dropped his new album, Orphan Black—the follow-up to his 2012-released outing, Stigmata.

Following on from "Hennessy Pool" a few months back, the grime emcee/rapper set the countdown for Orphan Black in motion. A deeply personal and experimental effort, the title track—a three-minute stream of consciousness—sees Tre Mission set the tone for the rest of the project, firing out rhymes over orchestral strings and rattling synths.

Fellow Tizzy Gang members, Londoners Merky Ace and EllzBs make up the only features on Orphan Black, delivering verses of equal energy to their Canadian cohort and putting on a brief but thorough masterclass in twisting styles and flows with full song structure. For fans of grime, wavey rap, and any surrounding sounds, there is something for everyone on Orphan Black.
