Croydon rapper SL kicked off the summer with the five-track Everything Good Is Bad EP, leaping from his drilly roots to a blend of colourful soundscapes around cheeky, sinister lyricism.
Not keen on sitting back just yet, the Not3s-crowned "youngest in charge" now shares new music and a fresh visual in "Gigantalous". Here, SL holds court with his trademark conversational style, rhyming on his recent life and times over the hypnotic, Two Inch Punch production.
Following impressively-shot videos for "Tropical" and "FWA", cinematic visuals for SL are fast becoming something of a requirement, with the ever-present Kaylum Dennis holding down director duties here once more. Slowly but surely, SL is rounding out his artistry, finding his voice with more clarity and unveiling more about the man behind the mask.
