Brooklyn newcomer Pop Smoke's "Welcome To The Party" is currently blowing up on both sides of the Atlantic, and BBK frontman Skepta has joined in on the celebrations by adding some bars to it.
When rap game royalty queue up to remix your single, it's generally a sign you're onto some heat. Following a Nicki Minaj remix just last week, Skepta adds in his charisma and wordplay to the hard-hitting drill anthem, produced by UK beatmaker 808Melo.
Admittedly birthed from the Chicago variant, the UK's drill sound has taken off in recent years, giving rise to a number of rap and production talents all flying the flag at great heights. "Welcome To The Party" signals a deepening of relations from both sides. Check out Skepta's remix below.
