At the top of this month, SE London R&B talent Aminata Kabba announced that she would be releasing her debut self-titled EP, produced by close friend and collaborator MNEK. Although it's her debut, she has actually been working in the industry for a few years now; before she was recording under her surname, she went by the name A*M*E and in 2013 found herself nominated for the BBC Sound Of 2013 poll.

Now she's back to present one of the tracks from the EP, "Glue" (out July 26), a bass-heavy pop banger led by KABBA's extensive vocal range and infectious tone as she channels her Sierra Leonean heritage into the dance-pop structure. In an Instagram post, she explained: "KABBA is a Sierra Leonean name and part of my identity that is so precious to me. Now that I'm entering a new phase in my career, I'm free to fully embrace KABBA."

Ahead of the EP's release, take a listen to "Glue" below.
