French DJ, producer and singer DVNO (Mehdi Pinson) pays homage to his North African roots as he blends Moroccan influences with funk-filled, upbeat grooves on "Chtah شطح", an electric club banger that is sure to set the raves alight over the summer months. The track is accompanied by a unique animated video, made in collaboration with artist Pierre Thyss, in the vein of some classic cartoons such as Rick And Morty or the Regular Show, bringing a weird and wonderful dynamic that accentuates the mood given off by the track itself.
Speaking about the track he said, "This is first and foremost a party track. I even enlisted my father to lay down some tongue in cheek vocals that worked out a treat! It is undeniably a smorgasbord of influences, blending techno funk with Maghrebian (North African) music. I also had the honour of collaborating with the amazing artist Pierre Thyss, whose psychedelic animations are just out of this world!"
