Pi'erre Bourne's The Life of Pi'erre 4 has been unleashed on streaming services.

The featureless 16-track project is the follow-up to 2016's The Life of Pi'erre 3 and sees the famously selective producer expanding his sonic prowess once again. As Pi'erre explained in a May interview with Complex, his selectiveness in collaborators and in-demand status has unfortunately resulted in certain Powers That Be going the copycat route when he expressed disinterest in a proposed collab.

"If they can't get ahold of me, everyone has really said, 'Fuck it,' and they'll go get a copy," he told Complex. "It's the ones that don't really know me—the ones that just need some beats—who I don't like working with. They just want whatever will make people click the most."

Speaking on the delay behind TLOP 4 in the same interview, Pi'erre pointed to sample issues and "a lot of bullshit" as the culprits.

"Everyone used to think I was crazy, off some conspiracy theory shit, but I really just be following my intuition," he said at the time. "If I feel it in my gut that something's wrong, something's wrong. To sum it up, I just needed to reevaluate who I had around me."

Stream TLOP 4 below via Apple Music. The project is also available on Spotify, Tidal, et al.

Pi’erre linked with Young Nudy last month for their collaborative Sli'merre project featuring 21 Savage, Lil Uzi Vert, Megan Thee Stallion, and more.
