New Bieber alert.

Tuesday, Chris Brown and Justin Bieber shared their new collab "Don't Check on Me," complete with a "Love Yourself"-esque guitar pattern. Stream the new song up top via YouTube.

Bieber is fresh off an appearance on the new Gucci Mane project, as well as the purported continuation of that whole Challenging Tom Cruise to a Fight thing. More notably, however, Bieber is seemingly in the middle of crafting his first new album since 2015's Purpose. He reaffirmed as much in a recent Instagram post captioned "studio mode," with the accompanying photo indeed showing Bieber behind a piano with partner Hailey Baldwin.

Bieber's 2018/2019 slate has also seen new releases with Ed Sheeran, DJ Khaled, and Poo Bear x Jay Electronica. Not to be rushed, however, a TMZ report from April suggested he was in no immediate hurry to finalize a new full-length. While he did tell a Coachella crowd during Ariana Grande's headlining set that an album was "coming soon," the subsequent report (citing the usual "sources close to the situation" and whatnot) claimed a few songs were in the bag but a "new sound" was still in the process of being cultivated.

The new Chris Brown collab follows an instance in which Bieber, to many fans' collective chagrin, defended criticism against the singer by likening him to a combination of Michael Jackson and 2Pac.

"Don't Check on Me" is off Brown's upcoming album, Indigo, which also includes the Billboard Hot 100 hit "No Guidance" featuring Drake. Indigo is expected to arrive June 28.
