City Girls are here to give "Act Up" the love it deserves. The Girl Code highlight initially arrived in November, but after it continued to grow in popularity, they've finally shared the official video.
The slick "Act Up" visual, which features an appearance from fellow Quality Control label mate Lil Yachty who co-wrote the song, stars Yung Miami and a whole lot of fans turning up. It's exactly the type of boisterous clip "Act Up" needed, delivering the same energy as the bouncy beat and the two rappers' memorable verses.
As to be expected, JT doesn't make an appearance in the video due to her current prison sentence for fraud. Her legal team filed a motion earlier this month to have the rapper moved from prison to a halfway house so that she could continue to record music with Yung Miami, however, the judge decided against allowing her an early release.
JT was given a 108-day good conduct time credit, which means she's effectively served almost 16 months of her two-year sentence. Despite this, it appears she'll be behind bars for a bit longer. As of right now, it's unclear when JT will be released from prison.
