Nearly a year after dropping her debut project, Zephyr, rising R&B singer NIKI returns with a new record called "Lowkey."
The track, co-produced by NIKI and Z3N, serves as the lead single off her forthcoming EP, Wanna Take This Downtown?
"It's a really cool track, because it's an honest, pretty frontal subject," the 20-year-old said about the cut. "To not make it what its not, to keep things lowkey ... but it’s set against the backdrop of innocence and almost has a coy delivery and tone, which I was very intentional about."
"Lowkey" is available now on all major streaming platforms, including Apple Music, Spotify, and Tidal. You can also check out the song's official music video, directed by Nina McNeely, above.
