The Bouff Daddy is back and he's just dropped a brand new freestyle to mark his return. J Hus made his grand entrance at Drake's O2 show last week, but this is the first bit of new music we've had from him since he was released from prison.
Although he recorded this freestyle before he went away, J Hus sounds as vibrant as ever, but there's no escaping the fact that he's had a rough time. This comes through more than ever in his bars; there's a maturity and even an edge of spirituality in lines like I lost a lot of faith, but I pray harder.
So while we can only assume new music will soon be upon us, let's content ourselves with this lesson in lyrical greatness for now.
