Waka Flocka Flame Thinks Daniel Caesar Shouldn’t Comment on Black Americans Because He’s Canadian

Waka Flocka and his wife Tammy Rivera took direct objection to Daniel Caesar's comments earlier this week.

Daniel Caesar's comments on American race relations has made him the latest topic of discussion. It seems like everyone with a social media account has voiced their opinions on his critique of black people. Now, rapper Waka Flocka Flame has become the latest person to condemn the singer.

On Wednesday, during an interview with TMZWaka Flocka and his wife Tammy Rivera took direct objection to Daniel Caesar.

"He's from Canada, okay so he doesn't know what's going on. He's Canadian," Rivera began. "Tell him to drive down the street in a car and speed and get pulled over by two white cops then he'll figure out why."

Flocka echoed his wife's sentiments in addition to giving the Canadian artist advice on navigating race relations in the United States.

"Bruh, don't speak American business if you not from here," Flocka stated before digging deeper into Caesar's comments.

"You said, n***a 'get over it?'," Flocka said. "Make sure you stay the fuck away from Brick Squad 'cause we might get over on your ass, bruh. Don't you ever in your life talk about black people like that. Boy, you stupid... N***a got his hair blonde. He shouldn't talk about black people."

The Atlanta couple's anger is in response to a video of Daniel Caesar that went viral on Wednesday. In the clip from an Instagram Live session, the Canadian born artist asked why are American black people "being mean" to white people, specifically YesJulz. This sparked outrage from fans who felt that Caesar shouldn't question the race relations in the United States. Also, many think that he was overlooking the fact that Julz attacked two black women (Scottie Beam and Karen Civil) first. So, by questioning black people defending other blacks, he's aiding in Julz's white victimhood.

Yet despite this backlash, it doesn't seem as though Daniel Caesar will renege on his comments as he alluded to the potential uproar in the clip.

"I’ve said what I’ve said before and y’all tried to cancel me and I apologized like a bitch," he explained. "I don’t believe in that shit 'cause I think you guys are wrong and I think I’m right…and you can cancel me."
