Back in November, Waka Flocka reached out to Gucci Mane via Instagram to address their fractured relationship. Gucci now says the two former friends have reconciled, and any problems they had are “in the past.”

Even after Guwop was released from prison in 2016, the former pals never managed to sort out their issues until recently. In 2017, Waka opened up about the bad blood, saying Gucci "ain't in my heart no more."

In an Instagram post last month, the rapper seemed to have a change of heart. "I don't got no more beef, arguments, smoke, anger towards nobody," he said in the video. "If we ever had problems, beef, anything I'm telling you right now, for me, it's over."

He ended the message by saying, “You call me."

And Gucci did. “We spoke one time after that,” Gucci told local radio station Streetz 94.5 Atlanta. “I reached out to him...With him going on the internet like that, I reached out cause I thought it was urgent.”

During that conversation, the rappers reconciled whatever lingering beef remained, and put all that negativity behind them. “We had a conversation,”  Gucci said. “Everything in the past now.”

Now that his issues with Waka are deaded, Gucci can focus on his duties as the East Atlanta Santa this holiday season. The rapper and some of his friends are hosting a holiday show on Dec. 27 at Fox Theater in Atlanta. Click here for more info.
