Sheffield's history with bassline/4x4 is a long and storied one.
Steel City producer Palizè seems to know this as well as anyone else, and it's reflected in this new collaboration with fellow northerner and Scumfam spitter Kdot. Their new wobbly number, "As Per", plunges the listener headlong into the golden era of bassline, coupling Palizè's slippery low-end bounces and whipcrack beats with Kdot's rowdy and fast-talking flow. For those already familiar with northern bassline, this will be a welcome addition to your collection and a worthwhile history lesson for those who aren't.
