The-Dream has worked on countless projects of his own and with some of music's biggest talents. He likely knows more than most people when it comes to some of the most anticipated releases of 2019. The songwriter hinted that new Rihanna music was on the way during a talk with Hot 97's Ebro.
At the 24:36 point of the interview, Ebro asks The-Dream about what Rihanna is up to in terms of music. "She's cooking, she's about done," he responds while confirming that he has worked on new material with her. The-Dream stays tight-lipped when Ebro presses him for details: "She's about done. Super close."
The-Dream also worked with Beyoncé for some of her best anthems, Ebro pushed his luck and attempted to get information regarding the next Bey project, too.
"She's doing something," he teased. "I actually haven't talked to her about it, I've talked to the team about it because it's kind of just being coordinated. But she's doing something."
The multi-talented artist also took a moment to talk about how he approaches his work with the two mega-stars. Earlier in the interview, he also parried questions about disgraced Chicago singer R. Kelly and said he wanted "all the smoke" in the "king of R&B" discussion.
