As he celebrates the release of his Acrylic Snail album (out today on High Focus), Dirty Dike marks the 14-track project with a new video for the track "Rex 01" which includes features from Inja, Killa P and Foreign Beggars.
As Dirty Dike explains below, the track is a tribute to the jungle raves that raised him in the early 2000s. To match that, the slick visuals see them spit their bars while enjoying a wild party. Other features on the album include Jam Baxter and BRIT award winner and former label mate Rag 'N' Bone Man, but "Rex 01" is exactly what's needed to kickstart proceedings, if you haven't listened already.
As Dirty Dike told Complex via email: "This track is special to me. I'm a junglist at heart, it was my first real true musical love and I wanted to make something that reflected those insane raves at that venue in that year. The Stratford Rex in 2001 was a fucking adventure."
