The best place to catch your friend's show, of course, is from the comfort of the stage itself. And that's exactly the treatment Pete Davidson got during a recent Machine Gun Kelly set.

During MGK's show at the Wolstein Center at Cleveland State University over the weekend, Davidson was spotted by fans taking in the performance from atop an onstage platform. It was only Davidson's second public appearance since the alarming Instagram message he posted last week.

"[Davidson] seemed to be enjoying the show with everyone on stage and it was nice to see him smiling with everyone," one attendee of Saturday night's show toldE! News Monday. Per reports, Davidson was on hand for Eminem's favorite MGK song "Rap God" and a few more cuts before making his way elsewhere.

Below, catch fan-captured footage and photos of the Davidson x Kelly moment:

One of the most beautiful things last night was seeing @machinegunkelly and @Petedavidson on the same stage together. They have a beautiful friendship and it made my heart happy! ❀ pic.twitter.com/voToiQfWrM

Davidson starred in Kelly's video for "Loco" back in August. Earlier this month, Kelly hopped on a plane in response to Davidson's Instagram post about "doing my best to stay here." The two will next be seen together in Jason Orley's Big Time Adolescence. The film, which marks Orley's directorial debut, will premiere at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival.
