Kid Bookie

Two years on from his last project, You'll Rate Me When I'm Dead, and Kid Bookie is back with the 15-track opus, Publish This. Besides being almost twice the length of its predecessor, Publish This differs greatly from what came before. For starters, the production on Publish This is far more varied, incorporating many different strains of rap alongside some surprising elements. There's the punk rowdiness of "Who's Next", a very prominent Stone Roses sample on "You're A Liar", and then there are all the different flows he employs too. Sometimes it's head-spinning double-time bars, at other times it's more contemplative and, as mentioned above, sometimes the vocals sound more punk than anything else. Whatever you came here for, you'll be surprised.
