Over the weekend, James Corden's Carpool Karaoke teased the arrival of one of the most exciting episodes yet. Now the highly anticipated Cardi B edition of the Late Late Show segment is here, and it more than lives up to its promise. In the hilarious new episode, Cardi admits that she can't drive despite owning several luxury cars, prompting Corden to offer her an impromptu driving lesson in a parking lot.
"You look nervous," she jokes as soon as Corden swaps from the drivers seat to the passenger seat. It doesn't take long for them switch back, with Cardi eventually admitting that she's ready to give up on learning for now. The episode also sees her performing a number of her songs with Corden, including her breakthrough No. 1 single "Bodak Yellow," which kicks off their car journey together.
During the episode, Cardi highlights her love of ASMR, shows off a number of her signature noises, and even talks about her experience performing at a bar mitzvah. "I never performed in front of so many kids, and then my DJ didn't have the clean version of my songs," she explained. "I just felt so awkward saying the curse words. But those kids were having a good time, and I had a good time too."
Jumping off of that, Cardi was asked what the oldest audience she performed for was, with Corden taking her to a senior citizens dance class. One of the men there in particular takes a shining to her, asking if she's "available." It takes a moment, but she eventually tells him that she is, in fact, single.
Just last month, Cardi B's estranged husband Offset appeared with the rest of Migos for their very own Carpool Karaoke. Perhaps the best moment of their appearance on the segment came when Corden and the three rappers offered their own take on Neil Diamond's classic, "Sweet Caroline."
