Takeoff officially released his debut solo project The Last Rocket earlier this month. One-third of the Migos took the stage at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday night to perform the lead single off of the album, "Last Memory."

The outer space theme largely used throughout the album continued for the live performance with Takeoff being surrounded by screens covered in galaxy and moon imagery for the length of the song. A screen directly behind him began with a rocket launch before showing snippets of the track's official video, while a smoke machine filled the floor. His performance ended with his back turned to crowd as the screen faded to black.

Seeing Takeoff take the stage alone is certainly an interesting sight to get used to given he is usually seen beside Quavo and Offset, but it definitely provides a feel good moment as well for anyone who feels he doesn't always get the credit he deserves.

The Last Rocket is the most recent project from the superstar rap trio. It followed up Quavo's solo debut Quavo Huncho with Offset's effort reportedly dropping in the near future as well. There have also been rumors floating around about a Culture III drop at the top of 2019, so Migos fans will potentially have a ton of content to sift through in the coming months.
